I took a road trip across country and stopped at many National Parks, including Olympic National Park. It features unbelievably beautiful lush, mossy rain forests.
In my first post, I confused Quinault and Hoh and called it Qoh! Oops.
This one is Hoh Rain Forest.

And the skeeters are big enough to pack us all away. Love it in the summer when a slight breeze blows the moss like a pair of mossy curtains.

Thank you. I kept my hoodie on as a bug repellent for a while, until I was surprised by a hiker because I couldn’t hear him. Realizing I was compromising my safety with the hood this way, I opted for bug spray rather than hoodie after this! I did not want a moose to sneak up on me.
